Reference tables
Peptide reconstitution chart
Lookup tables for the two conversions that come up whenever a lyophilised vial is reconstituted: vial milligrams plus diluent millilitres to concentration in mg/mL, and a milligram figure to the volume and syringe-unit reading that correspond to it. These are arithmetic references, not dosing guidance.
Concentration chart (mg/mL)
Concentration = vial milligrams ÷ diluent millilitres. Read the vial size down the left, the amount of bacteriostatic water added across the top.
| Vial | 1 mL | 2 mL | 3 mL | 5 mL |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 mg | 2 mg/mL | 1 mg/mL | 0.67 mg/mL | 0.4 mg/mL |
| 5 mg | 5 mg/mL | 2.5 mg/mL | 1.67 mg/mL | 1 mg/mL |
| 10 mg | 10 mg/mL | 5 mg/mL | 3.33 mg/mL | 2 mg/mL |
| 15 mg | 15 mg/mL | 7.5 mg/mL | 5 mg/mL | 3 mg/mL |
| 20 mg | 20 mg/mL | 10 mg/mL | 6.67 mg/mL | 4 mg/mL |
| 30 mg | 30 mg/mL | 15 mg/mL | 10 mg/mL | 6 mg/mL |
Volume and syringe units by concentration
Volume in mL = milligrams ÷ concentration. Units = volume × the units per mL printed on the barrel (100 on a U-100 barrel, 50 on U-50, 40 on U-40). A unit is a mark on the barrel, never a quantity of peptide.

How to read these charts
Find the vial size in the first table and follow the row to the diluent volume actually added — not the vial's capacity. That cell is the concentration of the whole solution. Then open the table for that concentration and read across from the milligram figure you want to convert.
If your concentration is not listed, the arithmetic is the same: divide milligrams by mg/mL to get millilitres, then multiply millilitres by the barrel's units per mL. Milligrams measure peptide mass, millilitres measure liquid, and only the concentration links the two — so changing the diluent volume changes every unit reading for that vial.
Doses per vial is simply vial milligrams ÷ the milligram figure per draw, ignoring residual volume left in the vial and needle. For figures outside these tables, use the peptide reconstitution calculator, which shows the arithmetic behind each result.
